We are looking for a Director of Equity Administration to innovate, win, and grow with us in Portsmouth, NH.

The Director of Equity Administration is responsible for managing all aspects of the Company's global stock plan administration including overseeing the overall equity information system (Fidelity) necessary to ensure (with assistance from the accounting team) accurate recognition of stock-based compensation and administration of equity awards. Typical equity awards include restricted stock awards and performance based awards and an employee stock purchase program (ESPP). This is an exciting opportunity with a growing company to build the function and mature our operations, in terms of service delivery, processes and customer satisfaction. This role reports to our EVP, Global Controller and will interact regularly with other functional areas such as the accounting, tax and legal teams.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage all aspects of stock plan administration including:
  • Administer all of the company's equity programs and ensure that all equity transactions are accurately processed and settled in a timely manner
  • Maintain oversight of the company's overall equity system (Fidelity) and reconcilement of all data therein
  • Ensure and maintain SOX compliance
  • Reconcile transactions, termination dates, tax withholding and reporting, and other items as required
  • Generate and review for accuracy recurring and ad-hoc reports across multiple stakeholders in the company
  • Administer all aspects of the Company's stock plans; facilitate year-end tax reporting with respect to qualified dispositions and disqualified dispositions; monitor plan limits
  • Communicate plan provisions to employees and resolve employee issues or concerns as appropriate
  • Maintain and update documents defining procedures for all plan administration
  • Assist with 10-Q, 10-K, and Proxy disclosure requirements
  • Maintain internal documentation for SOX controls and auditors
  • Supervise staff
Required Skills
  • Possesses an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of equity administration and management, including accounting, tax, and legal concepts
  • Experience with equity administration systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; intermediate Excel skills are required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and adjust to changing priorities
  • Must have very strong communication and service orientation
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • 10 + years of relevant and progressive work experience
  • Familiarity with Fidelity Equity System a strong plus
  • CEP certification desired
