Job description

A global lifestyle brand seeks a Senior Business Analyst - Distribution Systems to provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership across the WM and WCS systems and technical environments.

This position is perfect for those who can bring their hands-on experience in Manhattan Associates, WM and WCS to an analyst role working with business partners, IT partners, and senior stakeholders across the company.

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead massive innovation projects within the company.

This position can be based in either Central New Jersey or the Atlanta, Georgia area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Work with business and IT partners to evaluate, define and document requirements for new initiatives, projects, and enhancements
  
• 
  Lead the design and deployment of major projects as well as ongoing continuous improvement initiatives of Logistics based execution systems
  
• 
  Develop functional and technical specifications per business requirements
  
• 
  Perform project manager or project lead role as required, effectively collaborating and coordinating between IT, business, and other functions
  
• 
  Communicate with senior stakeholders across the enterprise on key technology initiatives - including business benefits, status, progress, and risks/dependencies
  
• 
  Perform technical support role as needed, providing root cause analysis and resolution
  
• 
  Evaluate new systems and technologies as it relates to logistics execution systems(RFID, Blockchain, Robotics)
  
• 
  Work closely with the PMO team to ensure compliance with the project methodology
  
• 
  Support the business teams in their use and understanding of the systems and business processes
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  8 years hands-on technical experience with Manhattan Associates' WM application
  
• 
  8 years of experience leading large scale projects and deployments
  
• 
  8 years of experience with host integration applications and tools
  
• 
  5 plus years of experience with process controls and warehouse automation systems
  
• 
  Proficiency with data analytic tools such as Query, SQL, and DBU
  
• 
  Strong knowledge and experience related to OS400 and DB2 functionality
  
• 
  Expertise in systems design and project planning methodologies
  
• 
  Experience with business processes, functional design concepts, and principles
  
• 
  Basic knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Experience with MS Project Management
  
• 
  B.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, or related studies
