Opportunity

We are seeking to hire a qualified and exceptionally motivated candidate for a Business Analyst position. This position will provide support for both our Business Valuation and M&A Divisions. The position offers diversity and challenge and involves: assisting in the research, marketing and transaction support for existing sell-side clients; creating valuation reports; additional analytic and administrative support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Valuation Division by assisting in the analysis and preparation of Business Valuation reports. Significant client interface
• Support the senior team in all aspects of the M&A transaction process (from marketing to deal completion)
• Create target lists of potential buyers for our clients and coordinate and communicate with interested parties while maintaining clear and concise records
• Assisting the client due diligence processes; Manage data rooms
• Complete ad-hoc projects to better the team and its practices, processes, and procedures

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional manner
• Able to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and persuasively
• Well organized, detailed, and ability to work within tight time frames
• Excellent skills in accounting, financial analysis, modelling and forecasting and experience analyzing financial statements
• Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent
• 2 years of prior experience as an analyst (or similar roles) in investment banking, financial services, corporate development or management consulting
