Responsibilities

* Under general supervision, the Medical Technologist performs all laboratory procedures as required according to established regulations, hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
* Provides and performs analytical testing and/or procedures that require independent judgment.
* Operates and maintains current instrumentation.
* Displays sufficient knowledge of the current laboratory and hospital computer systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree, Medical Technology or Equivalent ASCP Preferred.

Blood Bank experience required with 1-2 years hospital setting preferred.
