Job description

· Individual will be involved in the implementation of new software systems and modernizing existing software using architecture principles.

· Leading the development of new systems and transformation of existing software to implement service-oriented architecture, microservices based architecture principles.

· There is an additional emphasis on defining and driving integration of products into the Python ecosystem of scientific and engineering software, e.g. Jupyter Notebooks, Numpy, Pandas, etc.

· Working with Kafka components - Producer, Consumer, Streaming and KSQL, will be a huge plus. Team is deeply involved with innovation initiative for all corporate functions (Finance, HR, Legal & Compliance, Real Estate).

We will count on you to:

· Corporate innovation team is looking for individual with 3-4 years of experience in web services /api using Flask, FastAPI or OpenAPI frameworks.

· Provides technical support to clients on existing problems escalated as appropriate.

· Codes, tests and debugs software programs and meets project plan goals under limited guidance from senior software developers.

What you need to have:

· 3+ years of software engineering experience

· 3+ years of RESTful web services

· 3+ years of database experience with 2 or more of the following platforms: Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB

· 3+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux environment

· Understanding of containers is a plus
