As the Enterprise Automation Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of business process automation. The role requires collaboration and partnership with internal stakeholders including Operations, Client Services, and Support Functions to apply appropriate technology solutions to a variety of automation use cases. The Enterprise Automation Director will need an in depth understanding of risk and control requirements including the areas of testing, remediation, and documentation. The person in this role will work closely with the Automation Business Lead to develop and prioritize the automation pipeline, conduct proof of concepts for new technologies, and help track benefits realization.
Your Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for a team of three managers and 7-10 developers delivering automated solutions using VB, SQL, Perl
In depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Apply understanding of how automation tools anddrive improved risk & resiliency, client experience and efficiency in solving business problems
Agree on development and implementation timelines and review according to prioritization of backlog
Ensure policies and procedures are maintained and stay aligned to changing risk and control landscape
Balance automation delivery with timely response to Regulatory requests
Work with internal clients and Delivery managers to ensure successful user acceptance testing and enhancement updates
Work with key internal contacts to manage automation project backlog and publish roadmap for automation implementation
Identify and report on End User Computing Applications (EUCAs) and adhere to model validation requirements
Collaborate with Business Architects to determine how automation can enable reimagined future-state architectures
Identify opportunities for reuse of existing automation solutions across existing automations
Secure and manage automation budgets
Contribute to the strategy development and execution of a multi-year plan for DTCC's process automation program
Drive innovation and adoption of new automation tools
Create and deliver presentations and produce thought leadership to increase organizational and client awareness
Develop talent through training and mentorship
Develop and implement metrics, analytics, and management dashboards to identify and demonstrate impact, progress, issues, and opportunities
Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed For Success:

Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
Experience and strong track record in driving design and implementation of business automation solutions
Experience in engaging with management teams in Business, Support Functions and Technology
Knowledge of business process re-engineering, and automation tools and their application to solve business problems
Strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering technical details to a non-technical audience
People management experience
