HR Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
Looking for organize responsible for coordinating, executing, and actively managing onboarding activities for new hires from offer acceptance through their first day of employment. This includes interacting with new hires virtually and ensuring that the necessary onboarding documentation is completed in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Work virtually (online and via telephone) to complete onboarding activities with candidates.
- Work within the systems of record and ensure accurate input and updating of documentation.
- Update internal trackers based on work completed.
- Send email correspondence to candidates via personalized messaging and templates.
- Communicate via video messaging as needed to provide clarity and ensure a positive "candidate experience".
- Coordinate closely with the Recruitment and Client Service teams to successfully complete the candidate onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition to new employee status.
- Act as a resource to candidates with questions and supply necessary resources needed to successfully bring them on board.
- Monitor electronic onboarding completion and follow-up as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and required clearance checks.
- Regularly assess and recommend onboarding program changes and enhancements to drive better retention and engagement of candidates.
- Manage time efficiently to address candidate needs and other related projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school degree required
· Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is a plus
· 1-2 years in Customer service and/or Human Resources required.
· Experience using HR systems a plus
· Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate to advanced Excel skills a must.
· Experience in a high growth company environment is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Work is primarily sedentary in nature; routine bending, walking, lifting, and reaching are required.
