Human Resources Assistant

Manufacturing company in Union County s looking for a long term Temp HR Assistant. This position is responsible for assisting the human resources coordinator in the related activities for 165 employees throughout the United States. These activities include in assisting in the recruiting, training, new hire on boarding process.,

Essential functions will include:

  • Under supervision/direction of Human Resources personnel, provide administrative support with filing, scanning and shredding to transition current filing system from paper to digital version.
  • Files human resources records into personnel and medical files according to legal and agency standards. Requires an understanding both of the company's filing system and legal standards for what should and should not be included in personnel files.
  • Provides general administrative support to the HR team including preparing & mailing routine correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of complete employee personnel files for company audit.
  • Assist in preparation of Employee Relations events.
  • Working condition will be In-Person/on-site 3 days per week, 7.5 hours each day.


The company is headquartered in Union County, NJ

  • Interaction with Human Resources and employees on a regular basis
  • Knowledge of or an interest in the Human Resources field.



This position is responsible for the assistance in administration of 165 employees.

The selected individual will be pursuing or have an associate's degree from an accredited university/college, preferably in human resources. marketing. The incumbent should be a well-organized person.

  • Must possess MS Office skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word.


Pay- $20 per hour
