PPT Consulting, a regional consulting firm specializing in People, Process and Technology solutions, is seeking a qualified SAP Data Migration Specialist for a consulting engagement opportunity in the Western Philadelphia suburbs. This role is responsible for assisting the project data team on data collection, cleansing, conversion, and enhancement / refinement of master data. Our client is a multinational manufacturing company who is in the midst of implementing SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities:

• Support project Data Migration Lead and Process Leads with the coordination and execution of data collection across multiple business units and legacy source systems.
• Coordinate data request as well as data collection; compile and validate the information; identity and remove duplicates; and cleanse / harmonize data across legal entities, plants / warehouses, and trading partners.
• Prepare / refine data files including data enrichment for load execution.
• Track data collection progress and identify issues and risks to be escalated.
• Communicate and escalate the data collection status to stakeholders.
• Support data collection methods such as MS Access, Excel Macros, flat/CSV/XML file format etc.
• Responsible for the identification, documentation, and resolution of data quality issues in the legacy system.
• Validates data as well as supporting the system testing from Unit Testing, Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Resolves integration issues, supports ad hoc data uploads, and implements change requests.
• Drive utilization of data best practices within the program.
• Support existing MDG system and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field and 10+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of SAP with multiple full cycle projects (S/4HANA a plus)
• 3 - 4 full-life-cycle SAP implementation projects.
• Experience of running a large data conversion project across multiple domains a must.
• Domain knowledge of Finance, Sales or Supply chain as it relates to data.
• Broad experience desired in multiple domain areas, such as data warehousing, business intelligence (BI), data governance, data architecture, data integration, data classification, data strategy, data quality management, data security and privacy, MDM/MDG, data standards.
• Experience with SAP BODS and/or ETL technologies required.
• SAP master data experience and knowledge required - experience with Materials, BOMs, Routings, Inspection Plans a plus.
• Background in data migration, cleansing, and extensive experience with manual enrichment from multiple legacy sources
• Exposure to tools like Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, SAP BODS preferred.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry; Chemical and/or Process Industry a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel / Access Skills to be used for data manipulation and transformation is required.
• High attention to detail with innate needs to dig in and solve complex issues and thoroughly test solutions.
• Experienced in working in a global setting and developing local expertise while operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.
• Able to work with a team and have great communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self-directed and uses judgment to proactively seek guidance from management or update status to management. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
