About you: You have what it takes to succeed in any communications or PR environment, but you want your work to make a difference. You do not want to be pigeon-holed to a particular client or content channel. You want to work alongside a team of professionals who are dedicated, skilled and collaborative. You are a leader who can manage a client relationship and multiple projects from concept through implementation.
Your day-to-day will look like: You will manage logistics associated with virtual and in-person events including securing meeting space, arranging travel and meals, printing collateral, coordinating shipping. Draft content for client and internal purposes including social media posts, disease educational materials, PowerPoint presentations, news releases, newsletters, report summaries, blog posts, media pitches, audit analyses, and more.Manage day-to-day client communication in partnership with senior staff; ensure timeliness of response to client requests while pulling in appropriate team members.Serve as point of contact for multiple external audiences including clients, physicians, patients, advocacy groups, journalists, consultants, partners, vendors What you will need to carry out the job:At least 2 years of healthcare experience with at least 1 year in recent agency experience.Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Science/Public Health, PR, Marketing or Journalism preferred.Ability to handle simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Proficiency with relevant communication platforms (media databases, social media tools, project management software, website analytics, Office 365)Excellent time management and attention to detail.A passion for impacting the lives of patients every day.Pride in your ability to achieve results without the "superhero" ego.The willingness and ability to handle daily administrative tasks.
