J&J Supply Chain Finance is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership to the ESC Functions across Quality, Environmental Health Safety, Sustainability, Strategy Innovation & Deployment, E&PS, and Digital & Data Sciences. This position can be located in Bridgewater, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ.

The mission of the ESC Functions team is to partner with Supply Chain leaders across J&J's segments and functions to transform the Supply Chain capabilities to enable differentiated and reliable Supply Chain performance. ESC Functions drives key programs and initiatives cross sector while keeping a keen eye on supply chain, quality, and environmental trends and disruptors across the globe and industry.

The ESC Functions teams provides support to Enterprise Supply Chain to drive innovation, cost improvements, training, systems deployments and support managing a budget of over +$200MM.

The Senior Financial Analyst Will

• Work cross sector to drive advancement in ESC Global Functions strategies that can include development of business cases for defined improvement plans along with budget support.
• Partner with leaders across the Enterprise to shape innovation and strategic vision ongoing
• Opportunity to support all Enterprise Functions with financial stewardship (i.e., Quality and Environmental Health Safety, Sustainability, SI&D, E&PS, and D&DS)
• Implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis related to Headcount, Opex, and Capex
• Facilitate consolidations and analysis for Management and Executive Leadership
• Foster open dialogue with leadership to influence strategy as well as adjust forecasts to align with expectations
• Own the end-to-end Capital Appropriation Request process, including strategy, financial analysis, and leadership review of capital projects
• Flexibility to address, strategize, and support ambiguous/new situations including Environmental considerations, innovative concepts, and cutting-edge project from a financial and strategic perspective
• The role will report to the Finance Manager of Enterprise Supply Chain Functions Finance
• Provide strategic financial leadership for opex forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analysis of ESC Functions investment decisions, ROI analysis on high impact initiatives, long range financial planning, business plan and forecast updates
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years or related business experience is required.
• Bachelor degree is required; preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
• CPA, CMA, MBA preferable.
• Must possess the ability to partner with leaders within the Supply Chain organization and have strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Self- starter ready to take initiative to drive business results, as well as process development and improvement.
• Strong analytical, accounting, and interpersonal skills
• Candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, possess good communication and negotiation skills, and be able to work in a dynamic and changing team environment.
• This position is located in Bridgewater, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ and require up to 10% travel.
