We are seeking a highly motivated Master or PhD (preferred) candidate with a background in Statistics or related discipline, such as Applied Mathematics, or Engineering majors with significant academic training in Statistics, for a six-month co-op starting in January 2022. The statistician co-op will work with the non-clinical statisticians within Manufacturing Science & Technology to support key functions in commercial manufacturing network and Quality. The work scope includes developing statistical analysis applications or analysis dashboards, and other ad-hoc analyses. At the completion of this co-op session, the co-op will gain knowledge of biological manufacturing and hands-on experience of advanced statistical analysis in pharmaceutical industry. Key Responsibilities The work scope includes developing statistical analysis R-shiny applications or analysis dashboards, and other ad-hoc analyses. Build novel Bayesian methods to support non-clinical statistical applications""Bayesian control chart, risk assessment, etc. Respond to other tasks and priorities as needed and in timely fashion. Qualifications & Experience Solid knowledge on key statistical concepts. Strong statistical analysis skills including linear model, hypothesis testing, and multivariate methods, and experience with Bayesian methods. Proficient in the use of Statistical software (e.g., R, SAS). Able to work independently as well as effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Good communication and presentation skills.
