Position Summary

The Business Systems Analyst position will provide technical support for our staff with our core system software and act as a liaison to computer support services. This position will be regarded as a technical expert in maintaining, troubleshooting, and assisting in the implementation of system updates for the software that supports our products and experiences to our customers and employees.

Expected Outcomes: The Business Systems Analyst will provide support for core system users and ensure ongoing functionality of the core system. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing and developing reports based on information needed by the user.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates the implementation and support of Merchant Deposit Capture for Bank Clients
  • Participates in application User setup and password management for business applications
  • Ensures that all databases are maintained according to approved and general practices
  • Provides limited Goldmine Support/Import/Export/Reports
  • Uses bank approved reporting tools to develop end-user desired outputs
  • Performs all mass mailing projects
  • Partners with LOBs to provides end user application support
  • Diagnoses and resolves all telephone line, data line, and telephone equipment failures
  • Assists with IT Projects as directed
  • Provides consultant type service to various business units as it relates to core application functionality and configuration options
  • Main functions include conducting research, providing analysis, making recommendations to aid in decision making
  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results/controls and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for resolution of system and application issues
  • Assist business line personnel with completing test scripts and testing for any system upgrades/changes or new system implementations
  • Assist in developing training material on the use of deployed applications, enhancements and reports.
  • Participate in Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery exercises as needed.
  • Support and guide business intelligence data management methodology, standards, and best practices for managing reporting and supporting end user consumption
  • Maintain reporting inventory of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly internal reporting
  • Perform other duties, special projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Previous working experience as a Business Analyst preferred
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of data reporting, retrieval and analysis tools
  • Experience developing presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Project Management Skills
  • Requires excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Requires a demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • The position requires solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The position requires solid knowledge of Fiserv Premier (core system)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
  • 5 years Business/Technical Analyst experience
  • Experience financial services and core banking understanding.
  • Strong attention to detail, self- starter and ability to motivate self and coworkers.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. at least 5% of work hours.

Working Conditions

• Moderate sound as in business office with office machines, computers, and people traffic.

• Open floor work environment.
