JOB OVERVIEW

The incumbent will serve as member of the Business Systems team, to support business analysis efforts across the organization (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and R&D), including execution and delivery of reports using BI tools. Collaborate with business process owners and users to gather and document business requirements and facilitate process acceptance. One of the key responsibilities will be helping achieve operational efficiency by ensuring master data integrity and supporting ongoing Business Systems operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with the Director of Business Systems and other Team members as well as functional area owners to understand business objectives' Helps assess demand and gather requirements.
  • Proactively maintains and ensures integrity of Master Data (customers, suppliers, items)
  • Collects and analyzes transaction data from a variety of data sources to ensure quality of reporting information.
  • Analyzes needs and requests for BI and reporting solutions in the departments. Develops, publishes, and supports business reports across the organization. Provides ongoing user support.
  • Uses Infor technologies (ION, MEC) and/or Microsoft SSIS to design and implement process automation workflows for M3 and other business components.
  • Assists with data conversions, and design of user interfaces.
  • Completes ad-hoc analyses to provide answers to data questions and to support larger initiatives.
  • Supports system cutover activities, including annual YE inventory reconciliation process.
  • Understands the needs of various user groups across broad functional areas with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
  • Assists in designing efficient business processes and business systems implementation projects and provide necessary support to functional users to ensure quality throughout the process.
  • Learns software capabilities, transaction processing procedures, and becomes knowledgeable about software configuration through internal training and support of appointed consultants.
  • Fosters the involvement of stakeholders.
  • Works with process owners to help configure systems and create documentation.
  • Performs ongoing business systems related tasks and other key projects as assigned.
  • This role is required to report to the Company's Park Ridge New Jersey Headquarters five (5) days per week; no work from home option.

EDUCATION, EXPEREINCE AND TRAINING

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Computer Science is preferred, but other educational levels or degrees may be considered with relevant professional experience in data analysis
  • 2+ years related experience, with knowledge in some of these fields:
  • ERP systems (ideally Infor M3) and/or business applications with emphasis on master data maintenance
  • Relational database concepts, SQL queries a plus
  • Crystal Reports, CyberQuery or other reporting/BI/dashboarding tools
  • Basic level understanding of software development, preferably web based technologies (HTML, .ASPX, javascript, jscript.Net) a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office product suite including advanced Excel functions (pivot-table, formulas, macros)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and details
  • Demonstrated ability to learn various software applications, meet business process needs, document and visualize business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Service orientation to assist others with understanding technical problems and business issues
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with various people and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able interpret rules and guidelines to enhance the business and in keeping with PIM's values and culture.
