The Financial Planning Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for supporting and executing the financial planning marketing strategy. The many aspects of financial planning from our advice and guidance framework, to how advisors approach the conversation with clients, to the award-winning tools and resources advisors use to support their conversations with clients are all key components of this multifaceted program. As part of the Insights, Product and Planning (IPP) team, the financial planning marketing program manager will be connected across the various products that can be part of a client's financial life and will support efforts that drive engagement and adoption of this unique program with advisors and clients. This role will work closely with lines of business and functional marketing teams to execute strategy, messaging and a robust implementation plan.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Execute the various aspects of the Financial Planning strategy working closely with the Financial Planning Team Lead
• Timely and effective execution of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns particularly focused on supporting advisor adoption of Financial Planning and the new planning tool (Personal Wealth Analysis)
• Promotion of periodic technology enhancements to the planning tool, including communications and updates to key resources such as advisor guides, how-to videos and intranet pages
• Project management, execution and delivery of impactful advisor support including:
o Program education for financial advisors
o Client and prospect collateral, seminars and presentations
o Content for external Websites ml.com
o Digital engagement resources for advisors via LinkedIn posts and eComms
o Video production
• Processes and manages submissions of materials through our marketing review process (compliance, brand, registered principal reviews)
• Supports the roll-out and on-going maintenance of intranet site (Resource Central)
• Internal communications support such as emails, news & alerts posts, and weekly sales ideas for various internal newsletter publications
• Responding to ad hoc marketing requests to support the LOB and Tools teams
• Maintain project plans for key initiatives, such as new product launches, special campaigns and key initiatives
• Measure effectiveness and produce reports of accomplishments and business impact through weekly and monthly project tracking data entry and metrics reporting
• Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment; ability to manage within tight deadlines; manage multiple projects concurrently
