The Talent Sourcer plays a critical role in the identification and selection of talent for specific projects that are critical to our most important clients. This role will have the unique opportunity to manage recruiting projects, have high visibility into the client relationships and drive success for the organization with the successful execution of these projects.
The Talent Sourcer works collaboratively as part of the Human resources team to execute on sourcing strategies to build pipelines of talent for critical hiring needs. This individual will be responsible for sourcing passive and active candidates for current and future opportunities within the ETS organization. This individual will use a variety of resources to source candidates and will always be on the lookout for new avenues to effectively identify talent in local hiring markets.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
* Execute talent sourcing strategies designed to effectively identify talent for current and anticipated hiring needs across the organization. Monitor talent pipelines to assess depth of candidate pool and actions needed to maintain talent levels. Measure results of candidate sourcing through achievement of target time-to-fill, aging, and retention goals established for each category of hire.
* Utilize a variety of proven talent platforms and resources such as social media, internet job boards, industry-specific blogs/discussion boards, name-generation research, cold calling/direct sourcing, partnering with trusted professional networks, establishing active presence with local colleges/universities and other local community groups.
* In partnership with internal and external clients, use expertise to identify, evaluate, and manage pro-active recruitment sourcing plans, position specific talent identification strategies, initiatives and tactics including networking, internal job boards, database mining, employee referrals, internal transfers and promotions, ad response, professional outreach, third party agencies and advanced recruiting techniques.
* Engage potential candidates to establish relationships, assess potential fit for ETS, and build pipelines to draw from. Screen candidates for availability, interest level, skills and qualifications, and salary requirements. Clearly articulate and present the value proposition offered by employment at ETS to reinforce candidate engagement.
* As internal consultant to hiring managers, provide direction and guidance on staffing strategies, job responsibilities, behavioral interviewing techniques as applicable (including identification of Core Competencies required), employment law and selection process.
* Ensure compliance with OFCCP, EEOC and other pertinent regulations
* Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function
* Other related duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years in a Corporate Human Resources department supporting Talent Acquisition functions.
* Proven experience using various sourcing strategies and methods in identifying, screening, interviewing, tracking, and sourcing high quality candidates a must.
* Experience in recruiting and staffing in a fast paced, high volume environment a must.
* Must be able to multi-task and be a team player.
* Familiar with Applicant Tracking systems and PeopleSoft preferred.
* Experience leveraging technology for competitive advantage required.
Other Requirements:
* Understand and communicate Immigration/work visa authorizations.
* Familiarity with Federal, State and Local employment laws.
* Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication (oral & written), presentation, customer service, consulting skills and organizational skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information.
* High standard of ethical behavior.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
