Human Resource Generalist

The Human Resource Generalist is an integral of the PPE, LLC professional team. This role will assist in the ongoing development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

The Human Resource Generalist will lead and direct the daily functions of the Human Resources department including recruiting high quality employees, hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, enforcing company policies as well as assisting in the development of quality measures and overseeing Compliance for the Company.

Responsible for assisting in the administration of the day-to-day efficient operations of the Human Resources department for PPE and affiliated entities.

. Oversees the daily workflow of the department

. Maintains employee records

. Employee Relations - Hears and resolves employee grievances; offers guidance to employees and supervisors.

. Counsels managers and employees as needed; assists management with creating written disciplinary documents.

. Supports organization changes and develop/implement appropriate change management plans for company initiatives.

. Responsible for Employment Documentation Employee New Hire Packets: Confidentiality Agreements; Employee Manuals - Development, Changes & Distribution

. Responsible for benefit administration and annual open enrollments

. Supports the Payroll Department assisting with new hire paperwork, benefits, employee leaves, etc. as well as update employee records in ADP Workforce Now, Compile and create reports.

. Conducts and oversees exit interviews

Inter and Intra company Communications:

. Facilitates information between and amongst PPE companies

. Coordinates company events

. Maintains Intercompany lists, phone numbers, email etc.

Recruiting and staffing:

. Development and placing of ads for office and administrative areas

. Screen Candidates

. Background checks

. Reference checks

Corporate Compliance:

. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

. Develops, reviews and maintains Corporate Compliance policies and procedures

. Monitors adherence to Compliance

. Works with COO on Compliance issues

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred

· Recruitment experience

· Knowledge of federal and state employment laws

· Knowledge of leave programs and applicable laws

· ADP Workforce Now experience a must (minimum 1 year)

· People oriented and results driven

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Effectively build and manage business relationships at all levels of the company

· Outgoing Personality

· Highly organized, detail oriented

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential
