Role and responsibilities

You will enable hospitality clients to create new digital channels, enhance customer experience throughout the customer journey (On property and off property) and modernize their core systems (PMS, CRS etc.). You will apply your platform expertise in property management system (PMS), Loyalty Programs, reservations, inventory distribution, etc. to lead proactive discussions and become trusted advisor for clients. You will influence our hospitality client's agenda in ways that reframe problems and surface new opportunities that co-create value. As a hospitality expert, you need to facilitate collaboration with Cognizant's engineering and horizontal teams to help realize and deliver consulting and engineering projects. In conjunction with client partners and consulting leadership, you will support and lead relationship management strategies that increase penetration and strengthen pipeline.

Specific responsibilities Include:

You will scope engagements to drive value for clients and profitable growth for the firm over the short and long term.
You will lead concurrent engagements and manage transformation for clients.
You will ensure the best talent, tools, and methodologies from across the firm are actively engaged and utilized.
You will lead teams to actively contribute to Cognizant mindshare-articles, thought pieces, etc.
You will drive consulting market share in hospitality, especially in ecommerce area pulling others actively to bring "One Cognizant" to pursuits.
You will support creation of offerings related to hospitality and develop repeatable assets for future use.
You will serve as liaison between stakeholders-demonstrate understanding of client's structure, policies, and operations
You will logically structure recommendations and supporting data to formulate a solid, logical and understandable business case
You will drive revenue by scoping, structuring, and leading engagements for the business unit.
You will lead client workshops, conduct strategy engagement and lead multi-year transformation for clients.
You will build advisory relationships with existing and potential clients; convert relationships with client team into long-term consulting relationships.
You will support in achieving revenue targets, team utilization and margin goals

You possess:

Minimum 10 years of combined hospitality and management consulting experience, and a consistent record of success in consulting, advising leading companies on a diverse set of strategic priorities
Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
Experience in leading requirements and product development for ecommerce sites and mobile apps.
Significant experience in consulting to the hospitality clients in ecommerce, PMS (Property Management System), CRS (Central Reservation System), Loyalty initiatives and platforms.
Performs as a Product Owner, liaisons between business and technical teams across multiple locations
Conduct requirement gathering sessions and document product features and user stories
Communicates story detail and priorities and ensures that the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan
Owns Acceptance criteria of requirements and stories in a product backlog
Supports in prioritization of product backlog items depending on their business need
Collaborate with UI/UX Architects, Technical Leads/Project Managers and Business teams for project requirements
Conduct Demos and presentations to various stakeholders
Manage Impact analysis and communication, alignment of solution with business needs
Own the Quality Assurance of product across releases
Participate in the Iteration Retrospective, where the teams gather to improve their processes
Experience in developing, pursuing, selling, and delivering strategy consulting engagements is highly preferred
Create and maintain long-term working relationships with technology teams, functional counterparts, vendors, and business partners.
Ability to establish immediate credibility among his/her peers and wider partners as a professional who is respected for his/her intelligence and technical expertise.
Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character who demonstrates high moral and ethical behavior.
Ability to travel as required by the nature of the role and responsibilities.
MBA or master's degree strongly preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
