The Business Process Analyst is an active implementation partner in all process changes ensuring all impacted procedures and process maps are kept up to date with changes in collaboration with other organizational functions. The Analyst is responsible for ensuring all stakeholders have been identified and have provided impact analysis as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as process mapping subject matter expert for the organization and assists in training new Business Process Analysts
- Develops and assists in writing procedures with line of business subject matter experts in accordance with company standards and requirements
- Defines/redefines business documentation into business process workflows
- Educates operations on common enterprise operational and process management methods, techniques, tools, etc.
- Serves as lead contact for EPMO and with other initiatives to help advance the goals of those efforts while advancing the culture of operational excellence through process management
- Collaborates with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and the Business Control Managers to understand critical process junctures in order to create and update process flows and procedures
- Responsible for participating in client contract change meetings and organizational change control projects
- Manages the documentation and coordination with various departments across the organization to ensure policy and process changes, resulting in client contractual changes or organizational change control projects, are implemented
- Communicates with senior management and line level managers of business units impacted by changes and documenting changes
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance required
- A minimum of 7 years business work experience preferably in banking or mortgage related work
- 5 to 7 years of process mapping and analysis experience, preferably in financial services
- Project Management experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of independent and cross-functional area dependencies to achieve business objectives
- Strong understanding of business procedures, financial services products, and computer systems
- Proven track record of exercising discretion while handling confidential information and documents
- Expert proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects and activities, and produce high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Exercises disciplined discretion while handling highly confidential materials
