Associate Recruiter
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Recruiter, are to:
- Have the ability to manage all aspects of the recruiting process non-exempt through senior-level supervisory/management positions;
- Be involved in industry associations and symposiums to further build relationships with potential talent; attend career fairs and other company and/or industry events, representing Bayer's Recruiting department to further market the Bayer brand, attract and recruit potential talent;
- Manage the offer negotiation and candidate selection process including any business specific selection strategies;
- Ensure compliance to region and country specific legal implications from recruiting activities (ex. EEO compliance - development of outreach activity strategy);
- Counsel managers on all aspects of the recruiting process, including a compliant use of the applicant tracking system, accuracy of job postings, identification of qualified candidates based on business requirements and behavioral competencies;
- Execute various sourcing strategies, such as college/university recruiting, internet job boards, social media, resume mining and job fairs to attract a diverse and inclusive talent pool;
- Utilize corporate applicant tracking system in a compliant manner to manage the recruitment process, ensuring a high level of integrity into the system;
- Perform behavioral, competency and skill-based interviews to assess candidate qualifications against agreed upon position requirements and competencies;
- Manage all aspects of the talent acquisition process including sourcing, candidate identification, compensation analysis, offer proposals and offer negotiation, pre-employment clearance validation, etc.;
- Partner with the recruiting operations group to ensure high quality delivery of process effectiveness, which includes system integrity, work authorization, and administrative quality;
- Sell the Bayer employment experience and ensure candidates/employees have a positive experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma/G.E.D. with at least 10 years of applicable recruiting experience or Bachelor's degree with at least four years of recruiting experience;
- Demonstrated experience managing a high requisition portfolio while maintaining customer service standards;
- Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) guidelines related to sourcing and selection;
- Demonstrated experience using resume databases, internet search tools and/or social networking to find and attract top talent;
- Demonstrated ability to instill trust, analyze and solve problems while anticipating the needs of our business partners;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to handle delicate or difficult situations with finesse;
- Ability to work under stress; ability to exercise strong judgment in difficult situations;
- Ability to manage partnerships with third-party executive/retained and contingent search vendors;
- Outstanding computer skills in a Microsoft environment;
- Working knowledge of HR or recruitment technology;
- Team oriented and cooperative (basis for handling multiple priorities across business units);
- Ability to use a wide range of information sources in reviewing the recruiting and compliance strategies;
- Ability to train others at the entry level;
- Applies Human Resources principles to propose means to adapt to changing circumstances;
- Develop alternative solutions to problems, handles complex problems independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience.
**This role can be based out of the following: Whippany, NJ; St. Louis, MO; or residence-based. Preferred location is Whippany, NJ.**
