Job description
Cetera Financial Group is currently seeking an Operations Associate for our company's office located in Albuquerque, NM. This is a unique opportunity to join our team to provide operational support and world-class customer service to our broker-dealer clients.
What you will do:
Operations Functions
- Processes Direct‐Way and Pershing paperwork using BAR Financial procedures
- Conducts basic review of transaction paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Conducts thorough review of each piece of paperwork to check for any missing information and seeks to actively correct missing information
- Prepare research assigned to them by the OSJ
- Compiled business‐related information assigned to them by the OSJ
- Accurately maintains required logs and files
- Scan and index/e‐file documents into an imaging filing system
- Depositing client checks electronically or physically
Daily Functions
- Answering Phones in a proper manner
- Prioritizing OSJ correspondence and phone communications
- General office upkeep (supplies/cleanliness)
- Mailing/Shipping business paperwork to correct sponsor company
What you need to have:
- GED/HS Equivalent and/or relevant experience
- 1+ Year of Professional/Administrative work experience
- Technical Competence - Thoroughly understands and implements BAR Financial and Cetera policies and procedures. Remains current on all changes and updates to Cetera technology platform.
- Leadership - Instills and supports the culture of Cetera. Has respect and confidence of others.
- Strengthens others by sharing information and authority. Contributes to group creativity.
- Problem-solving ‐ anticipates problems and deals with them proactively, developing solutions to problems independently.
