Job description
Infront X is looking for an Associate Project Manager who can work at a fast pace and deliver custom solutions for our clients, leaders in the sports, media and entertainment industries. You would join a solid team and work to design, develop, build, deploy, and maintain complex systems and projects.
Responsibilities
Project Management
* Manages small sized projects working with a Project Manager to execute all phases of the delivery lifecycle (initiation, scoping, execution, release, maintenance)
* Leverages internal tools to allocate resources, track burn rates, and manage project timelines
* Manages timelines, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon
* Oversees multiple ~5-10 person cross-functional project teams of architects, product managers, designers, development and quality assurance engineers distributed over different geographic locations
* Facilitates project related meetings for relevant working groups or programs. Tracks the action items generated and reports back to the larger group with notes and details
* Provides transparent and clear reporting to the client, leadership, and other stakeholders on status, progress, budget, projections, and results
* Identifies risks promptly, and manages them to resolution, escalating those that require leadership attention
* Assists in the estimation process in partnership with the Product Management team using a shared WBS and assumptions
* Controls resource allocation based on scope and budget
* Manages all risks and blockers to resolution
* Runs all project scrum ceremonies including daily standup, sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives
Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
* 1-2+ years in project management; delivering projects that include responsive web systems and mobile applications
* Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
* Digital agency and/or professional services experience preferred
* Knowledge of, and a passion for, sport, media, and entertainment preferred
