Role Summary

This position will be involved in the completion of MSG logs for events and shows to air on MSG Networks. Input daily log schedule and formats for upcoming shows. Input instructions from advertising agencies for daily spots/keep commercial inventory. Interact with Advertising agencies, Advertising Sales, Production, On air Promotions and Broadcast Operations.

Specific Functions/Activities Summary

* Completion of daily logs for MSG, MSG+, MSG WNY (Buffalo) based on 24-hour programming schedules.
* Daily reconciliation of all material commercials that aired on MSG Networks from the previous day.
* Input log schedule/formats for upcoming shows airing on the networks.
* Program tape codes/video sources to each show that airs on the network.
* Insertion of promotional units on logs based on weekly grid.
* Assemble production scripts for our professional sports teams (Knicks, Rangers, Devils, Islanders, Red Bulls,) and other live broadcasts.
* Run missing instruction report/assign commercial instructions to appropriate advertisers.
* Assist in monthly invoicing preparation and log closures.
* Interact with Ad Agencies, Ad Sales, Programming, Production, On-air Promotions, Broadcast Operations, IT, Pricing & Planning, and Marketing to ensure smooth execution of sales contracts and flawless Network performance.
