Responsibilities

This position performs analysis of data, dashboard preparation, visualization based on reporting requirements, data validation testing, data modeling, and data replication. This position also evaluates functional and technical specifications to fulfill data requirements for key initiatives/projects. Independently develops test plans, validation requirements and documentation to ensure data integrity for analysis and report requests.

* Work with large and varied data sets to formulate lists, reports and analysis that will assist management in the measurement, tracking, and performance of key initiatives and generation of strategic KPIs.• Deep understanding and functional knowledge of Power BI (or other visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker) to be able to design, develop and implement dashboards across the organization based on Power BI platform.• 5+ years of Enterprise Data Warehouse data models and dimensional modeling concepts and exposure on end-to-end data flow, BI process• Functional ETL experience using non-coding environments or SQL (Oracle, MySQL Server, Teradata or similar) or other ETL tool is desirable• Should be having minimum 5 years of experience working with relational database like Oracle/Teradata/MYSQL and file-based data storage systems like Hive/Hadoop• Works with various departments to gather data or application requirements. Independently designs and implement solutions for problems and/or opportunities to improve efficiency.• Evaluates functional and technical specifications to fulfill data requirements for key initiatives/projects. Independently develops test plans, validation requirements and documentation to ensure data integrity for analysis and report requests.• Understand and utilize programs, tools and databases efficiently to provide data requirements to users timely.• Designs and automates processes and queries for maximum efficiency and performance.• Troubleshoot and resolve development and functional issues to meet user requirements.• Communicates potential issues along with possible solutions and works with the business unit to identify optimal solution.• Identify, document and communicates data gaps (i.e. missing or limited data) along with solutions to address the gap management. Works with the business unit to identify suitable sources to accommodate business needs.• Maintain compliance with data governance and protocols through all processes.• As an integral member of the Data & Analytics Department, this position is responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the department and the bank in achieving their goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.• Power BI, MS SQL, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, Access), and query tools.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in technical and user-friendly manner, adaptability to changing priorities.• Must have the ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in data analysis.• Banking experience preferred.
