TITLE: Assistant Head Teller - $2400 SIGN ON BONUS

LOCATION: Guilderland

REPORTS TO: Branch Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non Exempt

AVAILABILITY: Monday-Wednesday 8:30am-4:30pm, Thursday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Position Summary:

Acts as teller on a daily basis, and in the Head Teller's absence, act as the Head Teller. When acting as Head Teller, the Assistant Head Teller maintains the duties and responsibilities listed below.

Essential Job Functions:

* Allocate and coordinate work flow in the teller area, while supervising, guiding and evaluating the tellers in all areas of their daily work, with special emphasis on developing and evaluating sales skills.
* Order, control, manage and distribute the office's cash.
* Coordinate the proving process and prepare all required reports.
* Communicate with customers, regarding complaints and inquiries, both in person and on the phone.

Education & Experience:

* Minimum 6 months recent teller experience preferred.
* A high school graduate or GED required or current high school student anticipating graduation.
* Two-year college degree in business or related field preferred.
* Basic math skills required.
