Broadridge is hiring! We are looking for a Business Analyst to drive the collation, creation and maintenance of various types of business and user documentation. This individual will work with the Business, IT and functional partners and senior leads to gather and analyze business requirements and build crucial business documents, including but not limited to business requirements documents, user stories, process flow documentation, user documentation, etc. We expect this person to assist with project management related tasks, such as meeting management, project plans/tracker maintenance, help with crafting status updates, etc. We want someone to be comfortable working with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint and other PMO tools.

Responsibilities

* Assists with requirement gathering improvement sessions.
* Educates development teams on requirements and end-to-end solutions being proposed.
* Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both teams.
* Recommend technology solutions to improve business decision-making with a focus on the core systems, technology strategies and standards.
* Work with end-users to define and implement test scenarios and ensure appropriate end user training.
* Participate in feasibility study, conceptual design and/or system presentation as required.
* Perform analysis of requests for system development / maintenance and determine the best approach.
* Act as liaison between all project partners including Business, Product Owners (or Clients), Development, Quality Assurance, and Sr. Management to ensure understanding of requirements, project objectives, and solutions

Qualifications:

* 3-5 years working experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Project Management
* Demonstrated ability working with MS Project
* Prior experience working in a Financial Services firm a strong plus
* Solid project management and organizational abilities
* Facilitation and issue resolution
* Negotiation skills and ability to work in a sophisticated, matrix environment
* Written and verbal communication
* Presentation skills
* Web technology development experience
* Good interpersonal skills and experience at dealing with clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups.
* Understanding the significance of fiscal constraints
* Solid grasp of system development life cycle and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems.
* Ability to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem- solving skills, specific to highly technical and customer focused service environment
