Account Executive Job Description:


Mission is seeking an Account Executive to work as part of an amazing cross-functional team delivering bold, meaningful work for our clients. The Account Executive position requires a mature disposition relative to client interaction, professional communication skills both written and verbal, a dedicated work ethic, and a collaborative attitude.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands the working dynamics of the client/agency relationship
  • Exhibits impeccable attention to detail in all dealings with the client - particularly with regards to communication, both written and verbal
  • Approaches all projects with openness, a willingness to learn and excellent listening skills
  • Manage tactical execution of projects, under guidance of Account Supervisor
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the Client's business, category and competition
  • Ensures that all administrative actions are adhered to - including preparation of contact reports, agendas and status reports
  • Manage legal approval process for healthcare/pharmaceutical accounts
  • Expand expertise across channels including broadcast, print, media, social and digital platforms to ensure the delivery of successful communications plans
  • Rigorous adherence to deadlines, editorial agendas and general etiquette of handling all media
  • Develop and maintain database of key media contacts, fostering the relationships on behalf of Mission and our clients
  • Exhibits quality writing of materials for primary clients, including press releases, key messages, fact sheets etc.
  • Demonstrate creativity and initiative in suggesting opportunities for clients to your direct manager and fellow team members
  • Reviews and proofs all documents to ensure immaculate layout and presentation before showing it to your line manager, even when the work has been originated by someone else

Key Experience:

  • 1-3 year's experience at a brand or communications agency
  • Iterest in working on healthcare accounts
  • Experience managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns end to end, such as, website online video, email, digital and social media
  • Proven success in building positive client and internal relationships
  • Business development support: interest and willingness to support growth opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong presentation development and ability to produce client facing materials
  • Collaborative in nature with a "no job is too small attitude" to assist with overall account team duties and additional programs as needed
  • Interested in culture and inherently curious
  • Technologically Savvy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Suite et al)
