Job description

Our client has an immediate opening for an Marketing Executive with sales support skills to assist the active Marketing and Sales Department working remotely and from our Lynbrook, NY Office. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and be responsible for assisting with the many facets of the sales and marketing efforts which includes forming relationships with existing accounts, sales support and administrative duties, including CRM database maintenance. We are seeking an enthusiastic and career minded individual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. The applicant's skill sets should add to those already existing in our firm.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule calls with existing and potential clients to address their building needs
  • Staying current with client needs, competition and industry trends
  • Act as in office contact for Marketing Department
  • Develop and Maintain client relationships
  • Cross sell to clients
  • Email new customers an introductory package and follow up
  • Follow up on completed jobs and outstanding estimates
  • Ensure a smooth transfer of information to all interested parties such as estimating, customer administration, project management and accounting
  • Assist in new business development for all departments
  • Maintain up to date notes and customer information in Cornerstone (CRM database)
  • Design social media campaigns and post to Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Use Constant Contact to create Email campaigns
  • Work with promotional vendors for apparel and holiday items
  • Address customer concerns with Department VP
  • Assist in executing business development plans for defined targets
  • Develop and identify prospects from current clients, referrals, leads and other sources
  • Attend industry events when requested
  • Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to past and current jobs performed for clients
  • Attend meetings as needed
  • Handle customer entertainment as needed
  • Assist Marketing Department with other tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; high sense of professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required
  • Works well independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
  • Relevant construction/mechanical and/or trade experience is a plus but not required
