Join our team of talented people!SUMMARYPartner Engineering and Science is seeking a full-time licensed Civil Engineer to work in our New York City Office The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in land and site development projects.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility to design, plan and manage projectsTeam player and initiator who wants to help grow a civil design departmentAutoCAD 3D experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsNegotiating, supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegateStrong stormwater management design skills and thorough knowledge of NJDEP stormwater rules, including recently adopted rulesExperienced in site civil design for small to large-sized residential, commercial and industrial projects for private clientsRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDEUnderstand and follow oral and written instructions in the English languageWork cooperatively with othersCommunicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingCreates CAD drawings civil engineering projectsUsing a range of computer packages for developing detailed designsLiaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and builders/contractorsDesign/drafting of site plans and subdivisions from concept plans through approvals/permitsDesign of utilitiesReport preparation, including storm water managementPermit application processing, including preparation of all supporting documentsUsing computer-aided design (CAD) packages for designing projectsAnalyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projectsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from an accredited university in Civil EngineeringPE license in New JerseyStrong client management skillsBook of business bringing clients to Partner and potentially staffPE in other states desirableMinimum 10-12 years of progressive design experience in land and site development, particularly in preparing plans and design production, preparation of site plan and subdivision applications.Minimum 5 years of representing projects before approval authorities, such as planning boards, zoning boards, city councils, etc.Equal Employment OpportunityIt is Partner Engineering and Science, Inc's (The Company) policy to provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
