Job description

THE CLIENT

Our client is a global alternative investment firm with offices in the US, Europe and Asia. Their New York office is based in Midtown with over 250 employees. They are growing and it's a brilliant time to join the firm!


THE ROLE

The firm is looking for an Assistant to join their Compliance team supporting the Chief Compliance Officer and broader team of 4 professionals. This is a brand new role with scope to make it your own!


Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Extensive calendar management
  • Compliance/due diligence administration
  • Organising travel
  • Working across multiple time zones
  • Liaising with stakeholders
  • Managing expenses
  • Creating presentations and reports (strong PowerPoint skills required)
  • Ad hoc projects


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working within compliance/due diligence
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an Assistant
  • Experience working within financial services or professional services
  • Excellent system skills - such as Microsoft Office and, in particular, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work with a high level of discretion with sensitive/confidential information


COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

  • Paying $80-90k base salary depending on experience
  • Hours 8-6
  • Paid OT
  • 20 days' vacation with public holidays on top
  • Discretionary bonus, 401k match, private healthcare
  • The client is requiring candidates to be fully vaccinated
