Job description

Spaces Commercial Real Estate(), a leading full service boutique commercial real estate firm, focused on providing custom office space solutions for clients, is looking for an entry level Salesperson to expand its growing team in New York, NY. The successful candidate(s) will work directly with and report to the firm's principal to learn the industry and gain hands on experience working with clients.

Core responsibilities will include prospecting for new business, researching the market, and servicing existing clients.

New Business Development for Entry Level Commercial Real Estate Broker:

  • Developing lists of potential clients through various online resources
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Phone canvassing to prospective clients within defined industries and markets
  • Targeted email canvassing to prospective clients
  • Developing presentations for new business meetings
  • Managing CRM database
  • Developing marketing materials

Market Research for Entry Level Commercial Real Estate Broker:

  • Surveying the NYC market to develop an in depth understanding of the NYC office leasing dynamics
  • Providing clients and prospective clients with valuable information on activity in the market including rental rates, vacancy rates, comparable teams, and competitive spaces

Servicing Existing Clients for Commercial Real Estate Broker:

  • Managing new incoming leads
  • Assisting clients to better understand their long and short term space needs
  • Researching spaces on and off market to identify spaces that fit tenants' requirements
  • Assembling and conducting space tours
  • Drafting and negotiating lease proposals
  • Developing marketing strategies for space disposition

Requirements

Strong written and oral communication skills

Bachelor's Degree or higher

Self-motivated and competitive

Positive and optimistic attitude

Eager to learn

Ability to confront and overcome challenges and obstacles

Real estate license is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have completed the NYS licensing course and passed the exam. We will assist in obtaining a license for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
