The portfolio of brands we own and manage include: TopView Sightseeing, Event Cruises NYC, Liberty Cruise, Bike Rental Central Park, and Attraction Pass. As we scale, we are looking for aspiring professionals to join the team and help drive the growth further. Our company is experiencing a great vertical and horizontal expansion and has planned to start exporting the experience, knowledge and success of our operations to other locations around the world starting in late 2021 such as Washington DC, San Francisco, Miami, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago, London, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Dubai, Isntabul and many others.

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Director of Sales who will drive sales over multiple channels and identify and develop new revenue growth opportunities. The right candidate is a high-energy motivated professional with exceptional leadership skills, time management skills, good communication abilities, and an understanding of task tracking and project management approaches.

The Director of Sales will be overseeing the following segments:

Groups and Charters:

  • Build and lead a team of sales managers and reps to handle leads from phone, email, and site form inquiries.
  • Reach out to various DMCs, Travel, Trade, and Transportation organizations, Schools, Companies, others to sell company products and services. Negotiate and finalize agreements with new partners and resellers.

Private Events:

  • Build a team of sales managers and reps to maximize the company's available infrastructure for private events by selling the products to corporate clients, schools, private clients, etc. Continuously create and develop new products to capture the most profitable opportunities.

Partnerships:

  • Negotiate partnership agreements.
  • Identify and sign up new partnerships to create new products and generate revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company's group, charter, private events, and partnership sales performance to ensure consistent quality and quantity of outreach.
  • Manage recruiting, training, and maintaining of Sales Managers and Representatives.
  • Drive revenue growth by engaging customers to utilize the various different services offered by our company.
  • Deliver revenue objectives monthly, quarterly, and annually through personal effort and collaboration with team members.
  • Continuously improve the sales processes in order to achieve efficiency and better quality in order to maximize the revenue.
  • Manage and maintain the opportunity and sales pipeline using all internal management systems and tools.
  • Work with other teams in the organization and provide structured feedback about customers, partners, and market opportunities.
  • Identify, scope and drive projects and sales initiatives partnering with various teams across our organization.
  • Lead and facilitate multipurpose teams to get projects completed.
  • Develop new, creative initiatives to increase net revenue.
  • Build and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
  • Identify reporting gaps/needs and use data to target new opportunities in the sales funnel and ensure adequate resources/headcount.
  • Motivate team members to exceed goals through training, mentoring, competitions, and creative incentives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years in Sales Team Management (sales team size needs to be at least 10 or more team members)
  • 5+ years experience as a director of sales is a must, preferably in the event management, travel, tech, software, e-commerce, social media, or other emerging industries
  • A proven and consistent track record of exceeding sales objectives; planning and forecasting skills to ensure analytical analysis of opportunities
  • Experience in event sales
  • Experience in travel industry sales
  • Gorilla marketing experience is a plus
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Competitive and data-driven
  • Impeccable interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make independent decisions
  • Flexible schedule - must be available on holidays and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
