As a Product Developer, you will lead new product and product change efforts impacting the mutual fund and active ETF product lines. In partnership with other internal teams, you will evaluate the business case and key considerations for various product initiatives, tackle issues and drive initiatives to a conclusion within targeted timeframes. You will also lead critical initiatives that impact the product line including changes stemming from new regulations or distribution needs. What will you be doing?: Collaborate with distribution, portfolio management and operating support teams on proposals that shape and drive the success of the retail product development agenda. Monitor existing products and execute product change activities. Build consensus across internal partners and present initiatives to internal governance committees. Identify, evaluate, and tackle potential obstacles and risks. Work with internal stakeholders on communications for key initiatives. What are we looking for?: 5+ years of experience in the asset management industry. Prior experience with retail products is preferred. Knowledge of the product development function or previous product development experience. Confidence managing cross functional teams. Strong project management skills and proactive approach to leading and driving projects and business priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organized, precise and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task quickly and efficiently adapt to new situations in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about analytical problem-solving and continuous learning.
