Job description



The primary purpose of the Housekeeping Manager position is to ensure that guests have an excellent experience while supervising housekeeping associates. Ensure that the Bowery Hotel cleanliness standards are being executed. Preparing proper work assignments and coordinating room readiness with other departments.

You will supervise daily operations in maintaining the maintenance/sanitation of the guest rooms and public areas. Supervise the laundry operations and Monitors inventories.

Must be able to step in when Housekeeping Directors are not in the building.

Here is your main responsibility:

As the Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions throughout the building, as well as assuming all Executive Housekeeper's functions in his/her absence.

Must be able to open and close the housekeeping house.

These are what you need to do:

Manage the housekeeping employees to attract, retain and motivate them while providing a safe work environment.

Coach, counsel, and conduct performance reviews and recommend discipline as appropriate.
