Executive Assistant $73k-$83k / Office Manager / PA to the Founder & CEO


STATUS:

Full time contract to perm based in our business/business casual office on 5th Avenue at Bryant Park. Immediate hire new position created by company growth.

WE ARE: a small consulting shop providing perfectionist-level agile support on an hourly, project, or fixed-term basis to those who buy, sell, lend, or manage all types of commercial real estate located in the US. We perform a range of services including underwriting, pipeline management, deal advisory, site inspections, comps research, pitch books, Excel modeling, etc. Supported strategies include debt and equity for construction, value-add, bridge, mezz, stretch senior, pref, LP, CMBS and distressed. We review approximately 1,200 pipeline opportunities and complete 200 underwriting assignments each year. The majority of our time is focused on the middle market, with properties valued between $20MM-$150MM.

**note** commercial real estate experience is not required for this role. CEO focuses on this plus additional industries that you can help with including commercial lending, property rehab, organic farming, alpacas, cannabis, solar, and quantum/AI

The perfect candidate has SKILLS or INTEREST to learn some of these:

  • Writing: Proofreading and grammar are critical for triple checks of client deliverables
  • Events & Gifting: Plan for clients and for personal, holidays, deal closings, etc
  • Research: Find all the info about clients, upcoming meetings, purchases, regulations
  • Business Growth: Help to build the book of business by networking, identifying potential clients, recognizing when good clients need additional help
  • Marketing & Social: Find a designer to create outbound social media and email-based campaigns
  • Management: Oversee administrative and remote data entry team members
  • HR & Insurance: Stay on top of paperwork, filings, vendors, NYC requirements
  • Tech Focus: Interest in the application of tech-based solutions, AI, and systems to scale output, increase quality, and deliver market-leading results
  • Interior Design: We have lofted ceilings and a lot of blanks walls - help create our space
  • Personal Growth: TED talks, reading, goals, education, meditation - whatever you're into

HIRING PROCESS: 1) Collect candidates for a few weeks, 2) Video interviews for top 8-10 candidates in early October, 3) In-Person interviews for top 4-5 candidates the following week, 4) Final interviews for top 2-3 candidates the following week, 5) Selection & Offer by end of October
