Senior Financial Analyst- NYC

Townsquare Media is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! This role will be located in our NYC office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of monthly executive reporting packages
• Assist in the financial management of our live events business including planning and reporting
• Assist with weekly/monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes across multiple business units
• Complete weekly sales pacing, including uploading data, running analysis and reporting
• Provide timely reporting and analysis to various department heads
• Coordinate with appropriate business partners and Director of FP&A to ensure accuracy of financials, solve discrepancies and issues
• Review P&L settlements to ensure that they are complete and accurate. Liaise with appropriate business partners to understand variances
• Assist with compensation related reporting and processes
• Compile variance analyses to identify potential issues and differences vs budget / prior year
• Research and resolve a variety of ad-hoc and special requests to assist senior leadership with strategic business decisions
  
  

Qualifications

• BS/BA required, concentration in finance/accounting or related field preferred
• Experience: 2-3 years
• Strong excel skills required, knowledge of TM1 a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Quick learner and problem solver
• Experience in media and entertainment a plus
