Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

BlackRock's Technology & Enterprise Service Group aims to provide BlackRock Employees with robust technology infrastructure and strategic workplace solutions to deliver a consistent employee experience around the world, while handling information security and data integrity. Teams aligned to support the firm's functions.

As Head of Model Distribution Operations Management , you will:

• Build and oversee a team of operations professionals focused increasing the reach of the distribution of data about BlackRock's model portfolio business to internet scale

• Develop a deep understanding of the BlackRock's model portfolio business and the partner and client ecosystem in which it operates

• Help reshape the technology systems, data processing pipelines and operational procedures that deliver data about model portfolios to BlackRock clients

• Design the strategy for development of tools to improve operational efficiency and scale for model portfolio data distribution

• Own and refine the data model for model portfolio data distribution

• Oversee and coordinate the periodic data publishing process associated with model portfolio rebalances, with a particular focus on making sure the delivery timelines are met and data quality hurdles are cleared

• Helping partner teams across BlackRock with data quality and availability in associated report generation processes

• Oversee data quality checks vs authoritative sources and ensuring model portfolio data consistency across all distribution channels

• Ensure model portfolios are set up correctly across the various information distribution channels utilized by BlackRock

• Oversee the set up of 3rd party model information

• Define access for Financial Advisors to 3rd party models and custom models in BlackRock's flagship Advisor Center website

What You'll Need:

• 7+ years in development with program management, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience as Team lead

• Proven track record of improving data centric operational processes and reshaping the technology that supports them.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Experience defining pragmatic systems of rules that drive adherence through the efficient benefits of adoption - I.E. A love of rules, but the knowledge they will be broken

• Proven ability to work with all levels of a complex, global organization

• Collaboration with business partners with ability to manage and influence relationships that are widely dispersed both functionally and geographically

• Strategic mind-set, with the ability to determine optimal engagement strategies, from ideation through execution alongside cross-functional partners (e.g., events, communications)

• An innovator with a builder's mindset who wants to reshape a key part of an enterprise

• An ability to deeply understand a complex ecosystem and how to build solutions to improve the same

• Strong attention to details
