Job description
The Senior Business Analyst will report to the Business Initiatives Manager for the Chief Operating Officer for Citi Private Bank. The office of the COO for CPB is the strategic partner for initiatives spanning CPB sub-groups and initiatives where CPB interfaces with other groups Citi-wide. The position will be located in London and will be responsible for supporting strategy and business development projects across the entire range of Citi Private Bank's business.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Design, implementation, and day-to-day management of various strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects
- Management reporting of business intelligence and CPB-wide initiatives
- Drive analysis to provide insights on to Management
- Participate in meetings and help develop analytics to drive key business decisions based on information presented
- Help coordinate prioritization of initiatives among support groups and ensure
- Drive and take ownership of projects and specific components of larger projects
- Support of business risk and control oversight
- Develop management presentations for key offsites and meetings
This role offers a truly unique opportunity to play a hands-on role in the development and implementation of strategic solutions for the Private Bank. It offers exposure to senior management and positions the successful candidate for progression within the group or to a position inside one of other CPB organizations depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should have basic project management and strategic analysis experience.
- 5-7 years of prior experience in Financial Services Industry and Wealth Management is required.
- Bachelor Degree required; MBA is desired.
- Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues.
- Fluency with financial modeling and presentations is ideal.
- Ability to multi-task with strict attention to detail.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) is expected.
Prospective candidates must be / have:
- Self-starter and be able to operate independently, plan workloads and deliver on commitments.
- Personally driven to utilize both proven and unique solutions to address business problems until issue is resolved.
- Ability to speak and present to high-level executives on status of Projects as well as get in the weeds with different stakeholders driving day-to-day execution.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, manage time and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
