GoCollect - Director of Marketing

GoCollect is hiring a Marketing Director who will be responsible for leading our organization's marketing efforts. This is a critical role for our organization as we are experiencing record growth. Responsibilities include:

• Day to day oversight of the marketing department including content marketing, social media, email, blog, event marketing and future channel leads
• Proactively making recommendations to evolve our marketing, channel and content strategies based on data analysis, insights and trends
• Staying up to date on best practices for effective marketing by attending conferences and trainings
• Planning, directing and coordinating all marketing efforts from start to finish, communicating necessary information to appropriate staff members
• Partnering with data science team to develop reporting for marketing initiatives
• Analyzing marketing performance reports and quickly identifying recommendations/learnings to inform what's next
• Developing advertising campaigns and promotional messaging
• Establishing tone of voice for the brand and ensure adherence across all channels and consumer facing communications
• Developing press releases
• Conducting regular competitive analysis

Requirements include:

• BA in business, marketing or communications
• At least 7 years of experience in a marketing of which at least 2 are in a management position
• Stellar communication skills
• Keen attention to details
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Proven ability to manage budget
• Professional and proactive work ethic
• High functioning in changing environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and workflows simultaneously
• Strong copywriting skills (will need to see samples of work)
• Ability to develop content strategies
• Passion for collectibles is a plus!
