Job Description: RN Supervisor NEEDED at Senior Living Community! Full Time, Monday thru Friday position, 8-5pm. -There is a ?on call? rotation being built such that this position will have to be on call approximately one out of every six weekends, with plans to stretch that to one out of every eight. Direct Hire! Salary position up to 78K! SUMMARY Responsible for the operation of the Resident Clinic. Counsels and directs employees and interacts with all members of the interdisciplinary care team. Responsible for staffing delivery of safe and therapeutic care, adhering to budgets and Human Resources policies and compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Interviews, selects, hires, trains, coaches, counsels and discharges employees in accordance with established company policy and guidelines. 2. Supervises all activities of the Resident Clinic in the delivery of safe and therapeutic care. This includes but is not limited to staffing, scheduling, work assignments, equipment evaluation, and statistical report preparation. 3. Performs routine patient care as defined by Independent Living standards of care. 4. Communicates directly with the Resident Clinic and Resident & Family Services regarding resident changes, concerns, observations, safety factors and other related data. 5. Performs charting and other record keeping activities. 6. Directs staff in the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities that address the restorative and rehabilitative needs of the residents. 7. Coordinates orientation, training and counseling for residents and their families. 8. Assists with Resident Assessments for other departments. 9. Operates within budgetary guidelines to include, but not limited to, budgeted hours, salaries and operational expenses. 10. Attends in-services and continuing education programs. Attends staff development programs to maintain and enhance performance levels. 11. Assists with employee PPD?s and Hepatitis B immunizations. 12. May accompany/transport residents to campus appointments and activities. 13. May participate in campus wide committees as assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -Two-year registered nurse diploma and one to three years experience as a registered nurse to include one year of management experience.
