Job Specific Description
Global Custody and Agency Services Technology is seeking a Technology Delivery Lead to drive technology projects delivering operational, regulatory, business, and risk management priorities for the Global Custody and Agency Services (GCAS) business. This role will provide development and growth opportunities across the disciplines of project management, business analysis and application management described below.
Project Management
- Serve as the single point of accountability for end to end project execution across people, process, and technology dimensions.
- Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project to ensure all project deliverables are on time and of the highest quality.
- Effectively manages project risk through comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
- Structure and manage effective meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage expectations of stakeholders as per the capabilities, capacities and constraints faced by the development team including infrastructure, vendor and cross-platform dependencies.
- Maintain a clear, concise view of issues, risks, dependencies & milestones.
- Prepares and presents project status to a wide variety of stakeholders including senior business partners.
- Work with a great degree of independence, partnering with business, risk and operations stakeholders to acquire a deep understanding of the project and the processes that surround it.
- Skillfully communicates to ask the right questions, using tools and visual materials, to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
- Concisely document requirements as is appropriate to the scope of the effort and the development methodology (BRDs, JIRAs, stories).
- Leverage business and functional knowledge of the financial services industry to solve problems through proposals developed in close partnership with internal development teams and vendors.
- Once business requirements have been defined and technical design finalized, the candidate will build a QA test plan including testing strategy and approach.
- Analyze test output and secure sign-offs for implementation.
- Manage all required application governance routines for one or more applications within the supported technology platform.
- Responsibilities include: Application Inventory record maintenance and certification, Technical Recovery Plans, Disaster Recovery Tests, Security Assessments and Remediation, Entitlement Definition Reviews, Application-Level Access Reviews, Hardware replacements and Application upgrades.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services with a track record of successful project and application delivery.
- Refined presentation skills, the ability to synthesize information, and communicate clearly with stakeholders across levels and functional areas.
- Ability to understand and absorb business and technology concepts quickly.
- Experience working with waterfall and agile methodologies for application development
- Understanding of a variety of financial products: Equities, Fixed Income, Corporate Actions, FX and Payments.

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Science, Finance, or related.
- Experience with defect reporting and story tracking tools such as JIRA and Quality Center
- Experience with relational databases, SQL and MS Office Suite
- Experience with Bank of America ECM Change Standards, Policies, Tools (ECG, CECE, AgileView, PPRT, and PCM) and processes (Permit to Build, Permit to Send, Permit to Operate)
- Experience with FIS/SunGard Global Plus or similar vendor managed applications
- Experience with SWIFT messaging for Payments, Transfers and Securities Markets including MT and ISO-20022.
