Job description

Expected work schedule: 8-5, should be open to work overtime as needed and approved by manager.

- Selected candidate will be given daily tasks with regards to wiring electrical systems: power cabinets, control cabinets, integrating the electrical sections of the equipment into one massive machine.
- Candidate must know how to read electrical schematics and be able to calculate current draw on a machine given all the components in a cabinet.

- Would be nice to have knowledge about electrical standards.

Summary:
Design and build electrical systems for high speed automation technology.
Must have solid electrical background and be well versed in international electrical standards.
Encompasses the scientific technology of electricity, esp. the design and application of circuitry and equipment for machine control, communications, computer electronics, and power generation, transmission and distribution.
Uses the principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to provide technical support to engineers involved in the design and development of control systems, communication systems, power generation systems, and related instrumentation.

Requirements:
Considerable technical and content knowledge of the job.
Understands practical applications, able to solve complex problems, full mastery of regular situations encountered.
Independently able to solve the vast majority of problems and ambiguities by examine pertinent facts and evidence.
Seeks direction for issues that cross functional areas and/or have broad impacts.
Works under limited site supervision.
Coordinates other activities beyond routine tasks.
Recommends process improvements, meets or exceeds deadlines, and able to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance.
Contacts outside of immediate work group are frequent and broad. May or may not have external contacts. Contacts may be sensitive in nature.

Education: AAS Required

Experience: 7+ Years Required
