Job description

Overview:
We are seeking an dynamic individual to join our team as a Cycle Counter in a manufacturing environment. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and will support the production team. If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine

quantity of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis

Review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity

Advance analytical skills, capable to identify root cause of variances and suggest corrective actions

Ensure materials are in proper locations

Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory

Weigh and mark product displaying remaining product left

Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision

Publish daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory metrics

Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on

inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)

Assist in receiving and put away process for incoming material

Assist in transfers to and from production area

Breakdown boxes and pallets as necessary to fit shelving

Utilize SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) basic functionality, including troubleshooting key master data fields, using RF guns and SAP WMS screens, and understanding how to identify when a problem exists that needs attention

Qualifications:
Ability to use computer for data entry, verification, and reporting

Must have no disciplinary action records for any reason at or above the written warning level within the previous twelve months at the time of posting or prior to assuming duties of new job.

Ability to work in a team environment covering all aspects of warehouse, exhibiting flexibility and willing to perform various duties

Ability to work independently, following established processed and maintain material accuracy with little supervision

Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse setting

Education and Experience Required:

High School Diploma or GED

6 months warehouse experience
