Role Objective

Supports Supply Chain's monthly financial reporting and analytics. Work with multiple plant leaders to budget, forecast, and better understand their financials. Provides insights focused on current trends and potential long-term impacts. Proactively gathers and evaluates data, collaborate with manufacturing managers, and collect insights in an effort to understand key expense drivers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

* Partners with VP of Manufacturing and Plant Managers, and other manufacturing leaders to interpret financial data and make current operational and longer term strategic decisions
* Proactively analyzes Supply Chain manufacturing expense, gathers key business information, identifies important insights, and measures and communicates results and potential recommendations for improvement.
* Utilizes multiple reporting tools to extract key financial and productivity data and synthesizes into meaningful business analysis.
* Manage expense reporting and collaborate with the Supply Chain Reporting and Analysis Director to provide analysis for month end reporting.
* Manage key manufacturing metrics reporting and present trends/insights to manufacturing leaders
* Collaborate with Supply Chain Reporting and Analysis Director to create monthly/annual budgets, forecasts and long term plans.
* Collaborates with manufacturing to understand key expense drivers in order to more accurately forecast future expenses.
* Utilizes financial/business models to prepare before and after views, focusing on results and improvement opportunities.
* Interfaces with cross-functional teams to gather information and analyze complex processes.
* Advises cross-functional teams on business/data insights, trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Creates tools to allow for automated display of information (data transformed into actionable information).
* Proactively identifies alternative methods of measuring or evaluating information to support strategic decision making and cost reduction.
* Collaborates with Information Technology and other business teams to create tools and processes ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Education and Experience

BA/BS in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Minimum four (4) to seven (7) years' experience in accounting, analysis or finance function, preferably within a manufacturing organization.

Advanced level Excel skills required; experience with Tableau and SAP preferred.

Travel Requirements

Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed
