At Honda, our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for a Human Resource Specialist will include:

  • Acting as subject matter expert in Human Resource initiatives, including performance management, organizational structure, and succession planning
  • Supporting associates with overall policy management, including revisions, communication, and interpretation
  • Partnering with production and support departments regarding implementation and reporting of business plan themes or initiatives that create associate impacts
  • Collecting and analyzing Human Resource data to identify trends and establish action plans to execute the company vision
  • Communicating company initiatives and projects to associates and management at every level
  • Providing support and resources to drive the development of current and future members of the Honda leadership team

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, management, psychology, or other related fields
  • Six (6) years of equivalent, related job experience
  • Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft
  • Good analytical and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent customer service
