Job description

An employer is seeking a Compensation Manager in the Cincinnati, OH area. The Compensation Manager is responsible for the design, management, evaluation and communication of First Financial Banks compensation programs. This includes designing and implementing compensation programs that attract and retain employees, and drive performance and results.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Manage compensation programs that support the achievement of organizational objectives and initiatives.

Maintain measures to evaluate how compensation strategies affect the company financially and impact associate engagement.

Manage the administration of corporate incentive plan programs

Manage the governance process for line of business incentive plans.

Provides consultation on a wide-range of compensation matters, including job market evaluations, incentive plans, and job offers.

Partner with leadership and provides expertise to ensure effective usage of compensation best practices.

Ensure compliance with FLSA and other regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the Human Resources team to recommend compensation, benchmarking, program design and improvements.

Manages executive compensation with consultant support

Coordinates materials and content for the board compensation committee

Manages company equity compensation program

Minimum Requirements

10+ yrs of experience Bachelors degree required

Advanced skill in MS Office, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Successful track record of strong project management across a series of competing priorities

Has led a team in the past

Understanding of FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act)

Desired Skills

- Manages development and administration of enterprise-wide compensation programs.
