What is a Corporate Recruiter?
The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for taking a consultative and customer service based approach to sourcing, pre-screening, identifying, attracting, and interviewing for assigned positions in various business units within the company.
What can I expect in this role?
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the organizational hiring goals for assigned positions
- Work closely with hiring managers and human resources to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process providing regular follow-up to the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
- Maintain diverse candidate pipeline through traditional and non-traditional recruiting efforts such as alternative, passive, campus, military and referral based networks.
- Participate in phone screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for open positions. Provide hiring recommendations to hiring managers
- Work with human resources to post jobs and schedule interviews
- Develop and maintain contacts with education institutions and attend career fairs and career events
- Maintain data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews and hires
- Conduct reference checks when necessary
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience, ability to recruit at all levels of an organization.
- Strong technical skills including experience using an applicant tracking system
- Background in recruiting for sales positions and a high-volume recruiting environment
- Must be energetic, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be organized and able to efficiently handle multiple tasks - working several requisitions at once
- Must have a strong sense of initiative, creativity and drive to complete tasks and meet goals
- Must demonstrate ability to work effectively with others as an integral member of a team
- Must have excellent phone and communication skills
- Behavioral and situational interviewing experience highly preferred.
- Must possess excellent time-management skills and critical-thinking ability
- Work independently with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and have a solid sense of overall team accomplishment
- Must have a leader mentality, humbly work toward goals and effectively deal with ever-changing circumstances
