CommuniCare Family of Companies - HR Generalist
CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting an experienced HR Generalist to support our Corporate Human Resources Department. As a family-owned company, CommuniCare Health Services has grown to become one of the nation's largest providers of post-acute care, which includes skilled nursing rehabilitation centers, long-term care centers, assisted living communities, independent rehabilitation centers, and long-term acute care hospitals.
This position will work in our Corporate Offices in the Blue Ash section of Cincinnati, OH.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintains a high level of visibility, accessibility and interaction with all employees.
  • Ensures high level of integrity is maintained and that personnel matters are handled in a professional, consistent, and confidential manner
  • Provides accurate and consistent answers to associate inquiries through critical thinking and problem solving. Delivers guidance in basic and complex HR needs by referencing standard scripts, quick reference guides, the HR Knowledge Base, basic HR knowledge and other point solution systems.
  • Handles Associate Relations and General HR inbound calls, emails and portal cases to identify needs and appropriately escalate cases for investigation or advanced assistance. Captures critical information and key points by using exceptional active listening skills and asking appropriate probing questions.
  • Assists associates with difficult and complex issues by conveying a high level of empathy and helping to de-escalate the situation.
  • Recognizes and adheres to established service center practices, procedures and guidelines.
  • Oversees and coordinates HR related projects such as policy and procedures.
  • Exceeds customer service expectations
Requirements
· Thorough knowledge of human resource management.
· Project Management experience preferred.
· Thorough knowledge of labor and employment law.
· Ability to interpret and administer company policies.
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
· Solid to Advanced level computer skills including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and HRIS program. Workday experience preferred
· Some travel required, including minimal overnight may be required
Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources of business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 3-5 years as a Human Resources professional (experience in a healthcare setting preferred).
· PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
· Consistent track record for executing performance objectives and delivering results with minimal supervision is essential.
