Landscape Crew Lead (Seasonal) - ?
Cincinnati, Ohio
Salary: $20 to $22 per hour
We're looking for a Landscape Crew Lead who can oversee workgroups performing landscape maintenance tasks at our client's commercial properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train crews in the following mobile landscape maintenance activities:
  • Mowing and trimming of turf.
  • Pruning of shrubs and maintenance of beds.
  • Installation and maintenance of mulch.
  • Application of weed killer ensuring no over-spray is applied to trees, shrubs, annuals or perennials.
  • Pulling of weeds and weed eating.
  • Cleaning of grounds.
  • Snow removal operations
  • Spraying of trees and shrubs and application of supplemental liquid and dry nutrients to lawn and trees.
  • Installation of perennials, annuals trees, and shrubs when required.
  • Digging of trenches and installation of drain tiles.
  • Planting of new, and repair of, established lawns, using seed mixtures and fertilizers recommended for soil type and lawn location.
In addition:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This job supervises 1-3 Mobile Landscape Technicians.
  • Shared accountability for customer satisfaction
  • Shared accountability for employee satisfaction
  • Coordination of snow removal operations.
  • Providing solutions and quotations to the client
  • Approve procurement of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure conformity to contract specifications and quality.
  • Team development, discipline, and career planning for the workgroup.
  • Ensure safe work methods
  • Ensure the use of proper protective equipment and that all team members are wearing approved uniforms.
Requirements:
  • Possess excellent customer service attitude
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours/days.
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of landscape procedures.
