Job Description:

A Loan Originator Assistant (LOA) will assist the Loan Originator(s) in managing aspects of the customer pipeline.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the client pipeline and maintain the database of current and potential clients, which includes, but is not limited to, entering current and accurate information into our system.
  • Assist the Loan Originator in marketing efforts and lead generation
  • Request client referrals.
  • Make appointments with, meet with, and work with clients regarding loan application and associated processes.
  • Gather loan documentation and ensure all documentation is done properly and moving through the process in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the application/filing process
  • Assist Loan Originator in general administrative and clerical duties
  • If currently NLMS licensed: Make outbound calls. Assist Loan Originator in completing and processing loan applications. Stand-in with clients in place of the Loan Originator as requested by the LO.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Represent Nations Reliable Lending, LLC in a professional manner by dressing professionally daily while in the office or when attending events.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Expectations:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills, able to work in a team environment and proficient with computers. Basic to Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Encompass experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical with good attention to detail.
  • Good judgment and the ability to work independently.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work well under time constraints and within deadlines.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience in mortgage banking or related industry preferred.
